We continuously get people asking why their art is declined, why did we take it off the group, why it's no longer apart of our group and so forth.
We are not doing this to seem mean, we accept works of all media - Traditional, digital etc.
But we do have Rules to which we would appreciate people would follow, as we normally have to 90% of the time tell people what the rules of the group are.
We do have people submitting SONIC work, examples of so:
We don't accept these as they are not what the group is about.
BUT. - If there were done in a more human form such as these:
:thumb15069375:
Then your work will be accepted into the group (Provided they're placed into the correct folder)
We've also had those who give us Kemonomimi work which is a human with animal ears an tail (such as Kitsunes, Nekos an so forth)- these aren't accepted into the group. They're not ANTHRO as we have stated this group is.
We do have a quality control which we wish to uphold, which is an image that has a basic grasp of anatomy and also that it's clean and clear.
We DO accept mature art provided they're along the lines of what I have already stated.
Now here's what a lot of people do.
When they've been declined, they tend to think if they re-submit they believe another mod will accept them into the group. This isn't the case, once your art has been declined, unless we've asked you to re-submit it into a specific folder, you are no longer try with that piece, if you would like to know why you were declined, merely ask and we will tell you.
We also tend to get a lot of people asking WHAT are we asking for when we say we would like 'mordern' anthros and we point them to the same direction each time.
We have this image to which provides a good idea on what we would like to see from you:
:thumb355049808: and
These are to help you see what we accept as well as help you distinguish the difference of what people tend to confuse with a lot.
We do have a rules and guidelines page if you would like to read that -which I believe would be a benefit for yourselves- modern-anthro.deviantart.com/j…
If there is any questions that you have and can't be answered, be free to ask us as we are here to help you, as you are here to help us expand in this group.
Thank you - Hades.C.

Update for the group rules and guidelines.
The main goal of this group is to collect art of anthropomorphic animal characters with a more human-like features of the face or at least with a very short snout.
And so, every member and visitor should remember: it is not usual anthro group. It is also group about stylization we wrote just above.
'Types' of characters we accept
Our Definition of "Anthro." "Modern Anthro" is not an official definition, but rather one we created ourselves for a more specific and diluted Anthro style. Modern anthro is a style of anthro where the characters' fac

Update for the group, involving rules and guidelines.
Rules are mostly going to stay the same to respect the purpose the group was made for, but we've made some small changes recently.
Quality of work
We want to try and keep standards up so please make sure that if you're submitting work to this group that it is clear enough and at least of good quality (basic grasps of anatomy, use of colours, shading and light, neat and consistent lines etc). If your work was declined – it means nothing personal, it simply means that you need to take more practice and train your skills. It’
